Weekly Thoughts 7.24.26

Maybe I make it a habbit to write out my weekly thoughts on Fridays? Has anyone else tried this before?

This week we had some pretty bad storms come through, thankfully I was working from the office and able to stay dry. I am happy that it held off for this coming weekend, and an added benefit, the tempetures have cooled down considerably!

Alright, I haven't played Pokemon Go for a few years, and started back up after my trip to Japan in April. I love having a daily "chore" like catching pokemon or hopping on my Duolingo. Here is one of my Shiny Charizards I've had for pretty much 10 years :)

Talking about weekly tasks/chores, I've been having fun exploring social networks. BlueSky really introduced me to all the really neat tools and ways to connect that are NOT on Facebook, Twitter, or any for-profit social network. The only thing is, I really need to find a group or friends who are on here to interact with daily. I am sure there are plenty of people in the same boat, but I have to remember that it is not a 1:1 comparison.

To end this week's session - the sun is out, and the air is clean! I felt bad for the Canadian Wild Fires last week, so this is a really nice way to end the week.
